Volunteering Development and Support Officers x2

We are looking for two Volunteering Development and Support Officers to join our friendly dedicated Volunteering support team.

Our Volunteering Team support over 20,000 volunteers across the country who give their time to our life saving mission.  In these essential roles, no two days will be the same. You’ll be responsible for supporting our network of volunteer leaders in recruiting, engaging and managing volunteers, as well as in a variety of creative new projects helping us to provide a positive and rewarding experience for all our Samaritan volunteers.

With experience of working with and supporting volunteers, you’ll call upon your excellent communication and people skills in this fun and varied work contributing to the very heart of the Samaritans mission and purpose.   • Initially 12 and 14 month fixed term contracts 
  • £32,000 per annum 
  • Hybrid working – Linked to our office in Ewell (Surrey) with a mix of home working and office work
