Head of Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns

Are you passionate about using your influencing skills to create change?  

We’re looking for someone who can bring their skills and experience to help us develop and expand our policy and influencing work.  Leading a small expert team, this is a new role, reflecting our ambition to boost capacity in this area and strengthen our voice for change.  Working with colleagues across External Affairs, as well as colleagues from across the UK and Ireland, you will lead our policy, public affairs and advocacy campaigning function, and help us create the change that saves lives. You’ll have proven ability to develop and deliver an impactful influencing strategy, drawing on different approaches suitable to the context, leading to evidenced policy change. A strong understanding of the current health and social care political environment as it relates to mental health and the relevant levers for achieving change will be critical.

You’ll be based at our friendly head office on a beautiful millpond in Ewell, Surrey. Just a 30-minute train journey from Waterloo and 15 minutes from Wimbledon.
