We are looking for a Volunteering Team Administrator to support our small and friendly Volunteering Team.
Our Volunteering Team support over 20,000 volunteers across the country who give their time to our life saving mission. In these essential roles, no two days will be the same. You’ll be responsible for supporting our network of volunteer leaders in recruiting, engaging and managing volunteers, as well as supporting the administrative tasks within a variety of creative new projects helping us to provide a positive and rewarding experience for all our Samaritan volunteers.
As Volunteering Team Administrator, you will provide excellent front line administrative and customer service assistance, to ensure the smooth running of the support services provided by our team. You will take responsibility for responding to and resolving basic queries and filtering enquiries to first line contacts. You’ll also provide robust administrative and customer support to our case work including branch enquiries, volunteer complaints and concerns, mediation requests and potential volunteer enquiries.
With the ability to develop efficient working practices and excellent IT skills (including excel and ideally some form of CRM), you will create, manage and update records and data in relation to volunteers and volunteer management as well as support the use of data to produce accurate and insightful reports.
With experience of working with and supporting volunteers, you’ll call upon your excellent communication and people skills in this fun and varied work contributing to the very heart of the Samaritans mission and purpose.
